What will happen when I call?

When you phone Cardiff Nightline one of our student volunteers will pick up the phone. We won't ask for your name or any personal details; we respect the anonymity of all of our callers.

A lot of people don't know how to begin when they first pick up the phone. It's okay to stay silent and take as much time as you need. We won't rush you.

We will allow you to lead the conversation in any direction that you wish, and you can end the call at any time. It's okay if you don't know what to say, can't get your words out or just want to vent. We are here to listen.
